TWO people were taken to hospital after a car was in collision with three other vehicles in Walton.

Police said a Ford Fiesta collided with a black Vauxhall Corsa, a black Mercedes E320 and a black Volvo V70 in Hersham Road at around 5pm on Thursday April 18.

The Vauxhall and the Mercedes were left with a small amount of damage. The drivers of the two cars were taken by ambulance to St Peter’s Hospital for treatment for minor injuries.

“Significant” front end damage was caused to the Volvo, as well as to the front and rear ends of the Ford Fiesta.

Neither of the drivers of these vehicles required medical treatment.

Investigating officer Dawn Worsnip said: “Given the time of day that this incident has occurred, there were a number of motorists and pedestrians in the area.

“I would urge anyone who believes they witnessed any part of this incident to contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference EL/13/2424.”

A 19-year-old woman was arrested a short time after the incident at an address in Walton on suspicion of dangerous driving. She was interviewed and released on bail until May 28.
