Surrey woman among three people in hospital following ‘serious’ car crash

Three people have been left in hospital following what police are describing as a “serious collision.”

The incident, involving a silver Volkswagon Polo and a blue Volvo XC60, happened on Wednesday morning (February 21) at the junction of B3004 and Passfield Road, near Bordon, Hampshire.

An 83-year-old woman from Surrey, who was driving the silver Volkswagon, was taken to Frimley Park Hospital hospital with a broken arm.

A 40-year-old and a 38-year-old woman, both from Bordon, were in the blue Volvo and taken to the same hospital.

The 38-year-old, a passenger, suffered “serious” injuries, police said.

A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Bordon yesterday morning.

“Officers were called to a two-vehicle collision on the B3004 Passfield Road, at 9.45am on February 21.

“Investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing and officers would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened, or who saw either vehicle before the incident.”
