Storm Caroline: Gorgeous pictures of Surrey in the snow as we prepare for another big chill

Could snow be falling all in Surrey again?

Storm Caroline is due to arrive on Thursday (December 7) and the Met Office says the storm will drag cold air south and is forecasting a big chill in the south overnight into Friday (December 8).

With high winds, heavy rain and perhaps even snow predicted, Get Surrey has taken a look back at how the county has coped with snow in the past… and the pictures are gorgeous!

The Met Office has issued a new weather warning for much of England with temperatures set to plummet with gusts of between 50mph to 80mph and showers that will fall as snow across many areas.

Temperatures will range from freezing to 6C and the Met Office said the wind chill factor will make it feel “bitterly cold” in some areas.
