Second arrest made in connection with £20,000 ‘ram raid’ burglary at Farnham jewellers

A second arrest has been made following a “ram raid” burglary at a Farnham jewellers, during which £20,000 worth of jewellery was stolen.

A 35-year-old man was arrested on Friday (January 11) in connection to the incident on October 18, 2018.

Officers were called to Andre Noir in Lion and Lamb Way shortly after 11.30pm to a report of a ram raid at the jewellers.

It is believed the thieves spent around one minute in the premises, stealing £20,000 of jewellery and causing damage worth £12,000 before fleeing on a motorbike along West Street towards Crondall.

In December, a 45-year-old man was arrested and has now been released under investigation.
