Quorn meal that ‘may contain RUBBER’ prompts urgent product recall

A Quorn tikka masala which could contain RUBBER has been urgently recalled.

Customers have been warned not to eat the brand’s 400g Quorn Tikka Masala with Basmati Rice (chilled).

The product presents a safety risk for anyone eating the dish.

Anyone who has bought the Quorn dish is urged to return it to stores for a full refund .

No other Quorn products are known to be affected.

The Food Standard’s Agency said: “Quorn is recalling its chilled Quorn tikka masala with basmati rice 400g product because it may contain pieces of flexible rubber.

“The presence of rubber makes this product unsafe to eat and presents a safety risk.”
