Pair charged with shoplifting at Marks and Spencer in Dorking

Two women have been charged with shoplifting at the Marks Spencer store in Dorking.

Police said the pair were caught on CCTV leaving the town after allegations of shoplifting at the store in St Martin’s Walk on Tuesday (January 8).

Local Police Community Support Officers followed the car as the two women headed south on the A24. Police said officers stopped the car and arrested the pair.

Police have named the women as Connie Wilson, 27-years-old of The Graperies in Brighton, and Chelsea Marshall, 28-years-old, of Providence Place in Brighton.

Both women have been charged with theft from a shop, and released on bail to appear at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on Friday, January 25.
