A pig managed to escape from a charity farm on the night of Thursday (January 11).

Mrs Blonde was spotted wandering about the roads by concerned members of the public.

The three-year-old Kune Kune pig is an emotional support animal, who normally resides at the Miller’s Ark and Animal Touch charity farm.

Her usual job is helping people relax and forget the stresses of daily life, working alongside lambs, goats and other cuddly farmyard creatures.

Sally Dodd, Miller’s Ark secretary,, said: “She was put in the pig field overnight and decided the grass was greener and managed to cross the A30 twice.

“A member of the public came up and told us a pig was out learning the Highway Code and crossing the A30.”

She added: “The Y Knot Inn very kindly rang the office and an elderly gentleman came up, we were very pleased.
