Masked men dragged victim out of car and assaulted him before vehicle was stolen and later set alight

A man was dragged from his car and assaulted by a group of masked men in Ash .

The three men pulled up behind the victim’s black Mini Cooper in Shawfield Road before attacking him.

Afterwards, the suspects drove away and the car was later found in Wellesley Close, Ash Vale, having been set alight.

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at around 9.40pm on Tuesday February 27.

The victim was taken to Frimley Park Hospital suffering from cuts and bruises, and was released the following day.

The suspects were described as white, aged in their late 20s and they had their faces covered by masks.
