Man left with double fractured leg after assault in Epsom bar

A man has suffered a double fracture after he was assaulted in a bar in Epsom .

The man was a victim of an assault in the Boogie Lounge Bar, in Waterloo Road in the early hours of Sunday (July 8).

According to Surrey Police , the assault took place between 1am and 1.30am when the vicitm, in his 20s, was with a group of people in the bar when an altercation occurred with another man.

The altercation left the victim with a fractured leg.

Detective constable Andy Robinson said: “This assault has left the victim with a double fracture to his leg.

“We are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the fight, or anyone who knows the suspect.”

The suspect is described as a white man, in his late 20s, approximately 5ft 10in tall, wearing a blue top which had been ripped off and dark hair.
