“My three-year-old nearly put the window out”

Some of our readers have pointed out that it is all too common for the McFlurry and milkshake machines to be out of order.

“I’m amazed it hasn’t happened sooner”

Kate Harley Fox was another reader to defend the actions of the man.

She said: “I’m amazed it hasn’t happened sooner, that machine has been ‘broken’ for a large portion of every single day and I have had many a craving tantrum about it myself.

“Let the guy off and buy a working machine if you ask me!”

“All the boys to his yard..”

Milkshake, a song made famous by Kelis in 2003, was a source of inspiration for some more word play from Darren Reeve.

He commented: “He was hoping that his milkshake would bring all the boys to his yard..”

How many of you read the comment in the style of the song?

McDonald’s comment

A spokesman for McDonald’s said: Very rarely ice creams or milkshakes may be unavailable while we clean equipment or if there is a malfunction.

“We keep this disruption to a minimum, and would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
