Horley teenager stabbing: Police renew appeal for information

Police investigating the stabbing of a teenager in Horley have renewed an appeal for people to come forward with information about the attack.

An 18-year-old was found in Church Road by a woman last Saturday (September 24) at around 12.45pm with stab wounds to the head.

The teenager was taken to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill with non life-threatening face and arm injuries.

Surrey Police detectives believe people who have information about the attack may be “too worried” or “anxious” to speak with police.

Detective Constable Emma Gibson, said: “We believe there are people out there who know what happened on Saturday afternoon and I strongly urge them to come forward with information.

“For whatever reason people may not feel that they can speak with police.”

Police have sought two men they wish to speak to about the attack.

The first is described as a white man, of large build with blonde hair and wearing a tight black top and light blue jeans.

The second is described as a white man, with blonde hair and was wearing a blue hoody and light blue jeans.

Both men are thought to be around 20-years-old.
