Elderly woman left with serious injuries after collision with car in Redhill

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash in Redhill which hospitalised an elderly woman.

Officers were called to the corner of Linkfield Street and Fairfiax Avenue at about 12.40pm today (Friday, January 12) following reports of a collision.

When they got to the scene, they found a woman in her 70s suffering from multiple injuries.

Paramedics were called and she was taken to a Surrey hospital with what police are describing as “serious” injuries.

The driver of the car, which has been described as a white Toyota Yaris, was not hurt in the crash and no other injuries were reported.
