From chocolate egg hunts and bonnet parades, to arts and crafts and school holiday events, there’s lots of fun to be had this Easter .

We’ve put together a guide of activities taking place over the long bank holiday weekend as well as during the school’s two week break to keep the whole family occupied.

APRIL 3-21: Hop along to Squire’s Garden Centre for its Create and Grow Easter activities. Camberley

April 3-15: The Mall’s Easter egg Hunt will run from April 3-9. Families can pick up a leaflet from the Customer Service Desk and follow the instructions for the free hunt around The Mall for the chance to win a chocolate egg. This activity is open to children aged 3-11 years old and limited to the first 300 children. Then from April 10-15, The Mall will be choc-full of fun with arts and crafts, animals, magic, storytelling and a Punch and Judy show at the Kids Camp in The Square. Available for children aged 4-10. APRIL 1-13: Try the Princess Charlotte trail at Claremont Landscape Garden daily from 10.30am–4pm. Farnham

APRIL 4 and 13: Compete for a Creme Egg in a free adventure course at Broadwater and Farnham Park. The course lasts for around 30 minutes and everyone will receive a certificate, chocolate and sticker for taking part. Have a go on April 4 from 10.30am-12.30pm at Broadwater Park or on April 13 from 10.30am-12.30pm at Farnham park. FREE event

Guildford

APRIL 14-17: Situated on the edge of the beautiful Surrey Hills, Hatchlands Park provides the perfect setting for avid outdoor explorers, young and old, this Easter. APRIL 2: Gatton Park will be open to the public, with free activities for children. The garden and parkland are open from 1pm-5pm for you to enjoy in the fresh air. APRIL 5: Join a family treasure hunt at Gatton Park for 4-7 year-olds. Follow the clues to explore the park to claim your prize. There are sessions – 10am and 1.30pm. Cost: £7.50 per child. Address: RH2 0TW

APRIL 6: Design your own T-shirt at Gatton Park. Aimed at children aged 8 and above, learn printing techniques and then create your own T-shirt to take home. The session runs from 10am-12pm. Cost: £10 per child. Address: RH2 0TW

APRIL 10: Learn about frogs and ponds as well as having a go at some pond-dipping at Gatton Park. Aimed at 4-7 year-olds, session runs from 10m and 1.30pm. Cost: £7.50 per child. Address: RH2 0TW

APRIL 17: On Bank Holiday Monday enjoy a spring-time walk around Gatton Park and join an Easter egg hunt. £2 per child to join the egg hunt. The Park and gardens will be open from 1pm-5pm). Entrance to the gardens for adults is £5. No booking required. Address: RH2 0TW

APRIL 1-17: RHS Garden Wisley has created a full programme of fun activities for children to keep them entertained during the holidays including a puppet show, storytelling, birds of prey demonstration and a Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt which will run daily from April 1-17. APRIL 4-13: Free drop-in family activities will be held at Surrey History Centre from April 4-13 during normal opening hours. Venture into the lives of the Valiant Victorians and get creative with arts and crafts.
