CCTV released after assault in Guildford leaves man requiring jaw surgery

Three men are being sought after an assault in Guildford left the victim needing surgery to his jaw.

The victim, an unidentified man, was walking through Guildford town centre at around 3am on September 11 when he was approached by three unknown men in Woodbridge Road.

One of the men then punched him in the face causing what police described as “grievous bodily harm injuries” before the three strangers then walked off towards Church Road.

Surrey Police has released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The men are all white, approximately 6ft tall and around 20 years old.

One is wearing a black hoodie, jeans and white trainers. The second is wearing a long-sleeved white t-shirt and black trousers while the third is wearing a white t-shirt and jeans and carrying a small shoulder bag.
