A caravan and shed were gutted by a blaze outside a home in Cranleigh.

Firefighters were called to Aven Close after the fire broke out at around 5pm on Tuesday (February 25).

Crews from Guildford, Godalming and Cranleigh fire stations tackled the flames, which spread to the house after ravaging the caravan and shed.

Guildford firefighter Ben Zatwardnicki said: “It is a caravan fire that has then spread to the shed, destroyed the shed and the caravan, and has spread into the house.”

South East Coast Ambulance Service was informed of the incident but as no-one was injured paramedics were not required to attend.
