All the M25 and M3 roadworks likely to affect your journeys this week

A number of roadworks are set to take place on the M25 and M3 in Surrey this week.

These include carriageway repairs, horticulture work and litter clearance.

Drivers are advised by Highways England to keep within the speed limit and get into the correct lane in good time when approaching roadworks.

Here is the full list of roadworks in Surrey from Monday (September 17) to Sunday (September 23).

M3 junction 1 Sunbury : litter clearance

Works to improve journeys by carrying out litter clearance will start this week.

The southbound exit slip road from the A316 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Thursday (September 20).

A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the M25 junction 12, clockwise to junction 13 and return to junction 12.

The southbound entry slip road will also be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday (September 19). A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the Job Dairy roundabout and return.

M3 junction 2 (M25) Surrey: surfacing

Work to improve journeys by surfacing the carriageway will continue this week.

The eastbound slip road to the M25 clockwise will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am from Monday (September 17) for seven nights.

A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the M3 to junction 1, A308, A30 to the M25 junction 13.

The westbound link road to the M25 clockwise will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, from Monday (September 17) for seven nights.

A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the M25 junction 12 anti-clockwise to junction 11 and return, westbound link road, M3 to junction 1, A308, A30, to the M25 junction 13.

M25 junction 9 Leatherhead, Surrey : horticulture

Work to improve journeys by carrying out horticulture work will start this week.

The anti-clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am from Monday (September 17) for three nights.

A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A243, junction 10 and return.

M25 junction 12 (M3) to junction 13 Staines, Surrey: carriageway repairs

Work to improve journeys by carrying out repairs to the carriageway will start this week.

The clockwise carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am from Monday (September 17) for seven nights.

Work on Friday will start at 11pm. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via M3 to junction 1, A308, A30 to the M25 at junction 13.

M25 junction 14 Heathrow (terminals 4,5, and cargo), Middlesex: carriageway repairs

Work to improve journeys by carrying out repairs to the carriageway will begin this week.

The clockwise terminal 5 spur road and junction 14 exit slip roads will be closed overnight between 11pm and 5am on Friday (September 21).

A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the M4 eastbound to junction 4 and return.
